We will cover the major sub regions of the Loire; from the famous whites like Muscadet, Chenin Blanc, and Sauvignon Blanc, to the elegant reds like Cabernet Franc and Pinot Noir. As well as some delicious sparkling welcome wine.

In this class, we delve into the diverse and unique wine styles that Australia has to offer. Known for its vast and varied wine regions, Australia showcases a wide array of grape varieties and winemaking techniques that set it apart in the wine world.

Exploring Regions: We begin by exploring the major wine regions of Australia, from the famous Barossa Valley and Margaret River to the cooler climates of the Adelaide Hills. Each region brings its own terroir and influences the style of wines produced there.

Key Grape Varieties: Our wine session covers key grape varieties that thrive in Australia, such as Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Riesling, and many of the new varietals brought by up and coming producers. We will discuss how the climate and soil of each region impact the flavor profile of these varietals.

The Rhone Valley stands out as a captivating wine region renowned for its exceptional diversity. Spanning a large area in southeastern France, this region boasts a rich tapestry of terroirs, microclimates, and grape varieties, making it a treasure trove for wine enthusiasts.

Join us as we explore styles from across the valley. This class will be an education on all the most classic grapes from the most classic regions in the area; from Northern Rhone appellations known for elegant, rustic Syrahs, to the legendary wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

We are so excited to be hosting Burgundian winemaker Aline Beauné here at the wine bar!

Back in April of 2022, Trevor took a trip to France and had the pleasure of meeting Aline at her beautiful winery in Buxy, France. Aline has grown up in Burgundy surrounded by wine and after many years of learning the trade and making wine, she took over her families vineyards, producing Chardonnay, Aligote and Pinot Noir. Now she is making her own wine in the heart of Burgundy.

We are very excited to host her and allow her to share her experiences and stories with you all!
